Reviews of premises licences

A premises licence can be reviewed under the Licensing Act 2003 where there are concerns about the operation of licensed premises in relation to one or more of the licensing objectives.

A review can be requested by a responsible authority or any other person. The application must relate to a specific premises and must be based on matters relevant to one or more of the licensing objectives.

The licensing authority will consider the application and any relevant representations before deciding what action, if any, should be taken.
